The original owners did a great job running the Original Texasdnb.com. It was a large hub for all things Texas Drum and Bass. The domain recently expired, and I was able register it and point it back to our website. We hope a lot of the original TexasDnB members register Artist accounts over here, and upload some mixes and tunes. If you are a former TexasDnB.com member and you register your account here, and we will bump your profile up to a full 1Gig of Storage for free. Your mixes and tunes, once uploaded to the site will be auto added to our Audio and Video feeds. To tune into the Video Feed, click on the LAUNCH PLAYER button at the right corner of the page. *points*. We look forward to you being apart of the site. |

Hello, Kurt / kdh here, Big things are instore for the EDJ Website for 2013. We are currently working on version 3.5 of our Audio and Video streaming interface. We are working to make it more Iphone and Android Friendly over the coming weeks. EDJ TV on the go sounds awesome right? Do see it in action, goto the front page of the site and click "LAUNCH PLAYER". Remember whats played in the player was uploaded by you guys! We are also going to do a site redesign. We've compiled a list of annoying bugs that we'll address, and we'd also like to change the over all design on the site. But we need some help. If you have experience with Java Script, PHP, and HTML and are interested in being apart of the EDJ Website redesign team, then let me know. Starting out, we'll give you a free shirt, maybe an EDJ Snuggie(yes you heard that right) and some stickers. Also, we need help with interviews. Have you noticed our Interviews are a little stale? Well.. We have to. If you are interested in helping us with Artist Interviews, let us know. We are looking to interview folks that are starting out, or folks that have been around a long time. But the idea is the interview needs to be relevant. We've done a lot of interviews over the years, so you'll see our format. See the new Kryteria one. Its really good for an idea of what I'm talking about. We have a few live shows that still happen on EDJ, but we'd like to add a few more. Wanna do a live Audio / Video show on EDJ? Reach Millions of people, and do it for free? Well.. We can make that happen. Respond to this message. Want to help EDJ but not sure how? Well, you can do a few things. 1. Be our Friend on FaceBook, and post our link. 2. Download mixes uploaded from our members, post a review of the mix in our Forum. 3. We have a forum! Its a little slow, but you can help by posting random stuff in there. I'm a big fan of Cats and Zombies. 4. Post your Events in your EDJ Blog, or on the Event Calendar. 5. If you are an artist, upload some mixes and more tunes. Look.. We know the site is broken in some areas, and just acts stupid in others. But the site has been and always will be a work in progress. Remember, EDJ was built by Junglists.. for Junglists. So we'd like to make this one of the best drum and bass sites on the net. We can't do that without YOU. Without you, we wouldn't be here. So if you can lend a hand and help contribute to the site, any help at all would be awesome. Send me a note via your control pannel and we'll get stuff rolling. We discovered that the new user sign up was broken, due to the captcha being busted. We fixed it. Soooo.. New users accounts should be working now. Sorry about that. Also.. We've noticed a slight up tick in 2 different types of spam here but we are doing what we can to make it go away fairly quickly, so sorry if you are getting any. Some in the form of posts in peoples blogs.. Others in the form of Bands or EDM Genres that don't belong here. If you're a new user and your entire profile is anything but DnB/DrumStep/Dubstep it means you didn't take 5 minutes to see what our site is about. Your account, your uploads will be deleted, and your email address will be banned for life with zero explanation. We are a Drum and Bass/Drumstep/Dubstep website. To put it in other terms.. We HATE house, trance, hardcore, bands, and hip-hop. Upload it here, and you run the risk of being banned from this site for life with no warning. There are plenty of other free sites out there that will cater to you. We get that some folks like to produce other genres of music. If you've been a long time member, and you upload something that doesn't fit our format we will kindly ask you to take it down. We also updated out Audio/Video Steaming servers, but there is still some wonkyness with it and we are working out the bugs. =) Please stick with us and we'll have everything back to normal shortly. |
